- Associated with HIV/ AIDS - possible overlap with pityriasis rubra pilaris.

- Follicular Hyperkeratotic Spicules
- Hyperkeratosis Follicularis et Parafollicularis in Cutem Penetrans
- Lichen scrofulosorum
- Lichenoid fungal id reaction (lichen trichophyticus)
- Punctate porokeratosis
